News: Chula Vista hit-and-run leaves skateboarder injured

CHULA VISTA, CA – A skateboarder was injured in Chula Vista after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Wednesday morning, ABC 10 reports. 

The victim was riding his skateboard on E Street around 11:20 a.m. when they were struck a white Mercedes that fled the scene.

The vehicle was traveling at least 35 miles per hour and threw the victim over the roof of the car.

The victim was hospitalized at UC San Diego Medical Center. No further information is available on the extend of his injuries.
