SAN DIEGO CO., CA – A 45-year-old male motorcyclist died last Friday after crashing into a pickup truck along a highway in southwestern San Diego County, reports the Department of the Medical Examiner.
The incident happened near the intersection of State Route 94 and Millar Ranch Road, which is just west of Iron Oak Canyon Ranch.
It’s unclear how the accident occurred, but police say the motorcyclist crashed into a truck, at which point the force of the collision threw the biker to the ground.
Medics took the motorcyclist to the hospital, where he died two days later from injuries sustained in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
