News: 1 injured after hit-and-run driver strikes car on I-5 near Poinsettia Ln

CARLSBAD, CA – A man was arrested for a hit-and-run incident that occurred on I-5 near Poinsettia Ln on Sept. 18, according to CNS.

Trevor Daniel Johnson, 30, was driving north on I-5 when he rear-ended a Nissan Sentra and caused it to roll over around 5:30 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the 23-year-old female driver to an area hospital for serious injuries.

Following the collision, Johnson allegedly fled the scene of the accident.

Authorities have charged Johnson with felony hit-and-run.
