EL CAJON, CA – Medics transported one person to the hospital Friday afternoon after a solo crash in El Cajon, reports the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened sometime around 1:47 p.m. near the intersection of Vista de Montemar and La Cresta Road, which is between the areas of Crest and Granite Hills.
It’s still unclear how the crash happened, but police say it involved an overturned white pickup truck that fell down an embankment. They also say that the driver may have been under the influence.
Officials have not elaborated on the condition of the driver.
A full investigation is underway.
