ESCONDIDO, CA – Two people went to the hospital Thursday after an SUV and an 18-wheeler collided in the San Pasqual Valley, reports The San Diego Union-Tribune.
The incident happened around 11:20 a.m. on the San Pasqual Valley Parkway near Bandy Canyon Road, which is just southeast of the Rancho Guejito Vineyard.
The investigation indicates that an eastbound Honda SUV lost control and crashed along the roadway. The SUV landed back on San Pasqual Valley Parkway, at which point an 18-wheeler crashed into it.
The driver of the SUV sustained life-threatening injuries, while the truck driver reported only minor injuries.
