SAN DIEGO CO., CA – Two men were killed last Thursday when their vehicle slammed into the rear of a tractor-trailer on I-15 near Fallbrook.

According to Fox 5, Eric Alonso and Angel Fiero Morales, both 18, were heading south on the freeway when their Honda Civic slammed into the rear of a disabled tractor-trailer parked on the right shoulder.

Alonso, who was driving at the time of the crash, was rushed to Palomar Medical Center, where he died a short time later. Morales was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver was unhurt.
