SAN DIEGO, CA – A woman is facing DUI charges in connection to a crash in National City that claimed the lives of two pedestrians on Wednesday night.
According to NBC San Diego, a man and a teen girl were attempting to cross East Plaza Boulevard near Harbison Avenue around 10:20 p.m. when they were hit.
The girl was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where he died a short time later. Investigator believe the two victims were related.
The driver, an unidentified woman, was taken into custody after showing signs of impairment at the scene.
