SANTEE, CA – Medics airlifted one person to the hospital after two vehicles collided at a busy Santee intersection early Wednesday, reports The San Diego Union-Tribune.
The incident happened around 6:05 a.m. near the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Prospect Avenue, which is just west of San Vicente Freeway.
Police have not yet provided any information about what caused the crash. They say it involved a sedan and a truck and that one person became entrapped in their vehicle.
One person went to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
A full investigation is underway.
