SAN DIEGO, CA – Two women were sent to the hospital after their vehicle crashed into a tree in the Sunset Cliffs area last Friday night.
According to the Times of San Diego, the crash happened at about 11:21 a.m. when the driver of Subaru attempted to turn from Point Loma Avenue to Santa Barbra Street and struck a roadside tree.
The unidentified female driver was hospitalized with an open fracture to her ankle. Police say she was not wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred. Her passenger complained of pain at the scene. However, it is unclear if she was taken to the hospital.
