News: 4 apprehended after police chase, crash in Clairmont

SAN DIEGO, CA – A hit-and-run collision in Point Loma early Thursday prompted a lengthy police chase that ended in a collision in Clairemont.

According to a report by KGTV, a Nissan pickup truck collided with a Tesla in Point Loma. The Tesla pursued the Nissan until it crashed into a home on Meadowlark Drive. The truck drove off a second time, leading officers on a chase down SR-163.

The Nissan then collided with another vehicle and a guardrail near the Clairemont Mesa Boulevard exit ramp before coming to a stop. Four occupants got out and attempted to flee on foot, but were apprehended by officers a short time later.
