News: 4 injured in La Mesa crash involving stolen vehicle

LA MESA, CA – Four people went to the hospital after the driver of a stolen vehicle ran a red light and hit another car along a busy roadway in La Mesa, reports abc10 News San Diego.

The incident happened just after 11:30 a.m. on Spring Street, just west of westbound CA-94. 

Police say they pursued two juveniles in a stolen Hyundai Sonata on CA-94. The driver of the Hyundai exited at Spring Street, ran a red light, and crashed into a Nissan Altima.

Three children and one other person were hospitalized as a result of the crash.

Authorities arrested the driver of the stolen Hyundai and his passenger. They face charges that include child endangerment and evading police.

A full investigation is underway.
