News: 72-year-old man injured in hit-and-run

SAN DIEGO, CA – A 72-year-old security guard was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in the College Area, ABC 10 reports. 

The victim was standing along the 6500 block of Montezuma Road when they were struck by a 2003 BMW station wagon around 11:30 p.m.

The driver then got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. A passenger in the vehicle remained at the scene and cooporated with police.

The BMW is believed to have been stolen.

The victim sustained cuts on his forearm and back of his head.
