If you were involved in a car accident on San Diego roads, the steps you take in the moments afterward are vital when you decide to file a claim or lawsuit. You should first pull to a safe part of the roadway. This action will protect you and your vehicle from a second collision. After that, make sure all the occupants of your vehicle are all right. If anyone is hurt, contact emergency services right away. Once everyone is accounted for, you should begin to gather evidence at the scene and exchange contact and insurance information with any other drivers involved.
