SAN DIEGO, CA – Commuters in the La Jolla area faced delays this morning following a car accident on I-5.
According to a report by Total Traffic San Diego, the crash happened at about 9:15 p.m. along the northbound side of the interstate just after the exit to La Jolla Village Drive.

The events surrounding the accident are unclear at this time. However, traffic was delayed in the area going back to Gilman Drive while crews worked to clear the scene.
