SAN DEIGO, CA – One person went to the hospital Tuesday after an alleged DUI driver collided with several parked cars in Barrio Logan, reports abc10 News.
The incident happened around 1:45 a.m. in the 3600 block of Main Street, which is southwest of I-5 and between Thor and Vesta Streets.
The investigation indicates that a white sports car struck several parked vehicles on Main Street, causing one of the vehicles to hit a nearby building.
Medics rescued a passenger from the sports car and attempted CPR at the scene. That person went to a local hospital with serious injuries.
No other injuries have been reported in connection with the accident.
Authorities detained the driver of the sports car on suspicion of driving under the influence.
A full investigation is underway.
