News: Ambulance called to 2-vehicle crash at CA-163NB and Washington

SAN DIEGO, CA – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a collision involving two vehicles near Scripps Mercy Hospital on Friday morning, reports the California Highway Patrol.

The incident happened at 7:47 a.m. on the northbound side of CA-163 just after Washington Street, which is just northwest of the Vernon Street Bridge.

Police have not yet shared the cause of the accident. They say it involved a silver Dodge Durango and a blue Toyota sedan.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, and injuries are likely.
