SAN DIEGO, CA – A man died Friday night after multiple vehicles struck him along the interstate in the San Ysidro area, reports The San Diego Union-Tribune.
The incident happened around 8:55 p.m. on the southbound side of I-805 near Beyer Boulevard, which is just south of CA-905.
The investigation thus far suggests that a southbound Kia sedan and multiple other vehicles struck the pedestrian on I-805.
The pedestrian died at the scene of the crash. Police have not yet released his identity to the public.
The 22-year-old driver of the Kia remained at the scene to speak with police.
