SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A semi-truck caught fire late Wednesday morning, causing delays on Interstate 15 in southeast Fallbrook, according to FOX 5 San Diego.
The incident occurred on the southbound lanes north of Exit 46 to California State Highway 76. It was first reported by North County Fire Protection District just after 11:00 a.m.
Officials have not said whether a collision caused the blaze, but two southbound lanes were blocked off as firefighters worked to clear the scene from the roadway. Motorists were warned of delays impacting the area and advised to find alternate routes.
At this time, no injuries have been confirmed.
