News: Body found in submerged vehicle in Chula Vista

SAN DIEGO CO., CA – First responders found an unidentified woman deceased inside a vehicle that was pulled from a drainage ditch in Chula Vista on Wednesday morning.

According to a report by KGTV, a landscaper noticed the 2005 Ford Explorer overturned in the 700 block of Telegraph Canyon Road near Oleander Avenue at about 10 a.m.

Officers discovered the body once the vehicle was towed from the culvert. No further information on the victim’s identity is available at this time.

Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the crash. Should any additional information come to light, this blog will be updated.
