SAN DIEGO, CA – A woman was arrested Tuesday after carjacking a Door Dash driver and crashed the vehicle into a flower shop in South Park.
According to a report by Fox 5 San Diego, the woman stole the vehicle as the Door Dash driver was making a delivery around 11 a.m.
The driver attempted to stop the suspect by jumping on the vehicle’s roof. He was ejected from the roof as the woman sped away.
Shortly after the carjacking took place, the vehicle crashed into the Native Poppy flower shop on Grape Street. The woman attempted to flee on foot but was located and taken into custody a short time later.
We do not know if anyone inside the store was injured in the wreck. However, the unidentified Door Dash driver was taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
