News: Crash on I-5 SB near Garnet blocks traffic

SAN DIEGO, CA – A crash north of Garnet Avenue on the southbound side of Interstate 5 blocked traffic Wednesday night near Pacific Beach, reports Caltrans San Diego.

The incident happened sometime before 7:45 p.m., just northeast of Mission Bay Golf Course and Practice Center.

Officials closed the three left lanes of southbound I-5 for approximately an hour. The lanes re-opened right around 8:46 p.m.
