News: Crash on I-805 leaves one dead in North Park

SAN DIEGO, CA – One person was killed on Tuesday morning after losing control of their vehicle on I-805, NBC San Diego reports. 

The victim was travelling southbound on I-805 near University Avenue when they lost control of thier vehicle around 2 a.m. They slammed into the center barrier and their vehicle burst into flames.

The driver, who has not been identified, died at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.

At this time it is not clear what caused them to lose control.
