EL CAJON, CA – A collision on the westbound side of the interstate past Main Street slowed traffic early Friday afternoon in El Cajon, reports Caltrans.

The incident happened sometime before 12:05 p.m. between Main Street and North 2nd Street on I-8.
Officials closed the right two lanes of traffic on the westbound side of I-8 while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
