SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A vehicle accident Tuesday night closed all eastbound lanes on Interstate 8 near east Alpine, according to Caltrans San Diego.
The collision took place on the eastbound interstate at Exit 33 to Willows Road. It was first reported by Caltrans at 8:09 p.m.
Officials have not shared the cause of the wreck or any details on the vehicles involved, but the closure remained in place for just over 30 minutes.

By 8:40 p.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened.
