Police say the crash involved a brown pickup truck, a white sports car, a red sedan, and an unknown fourth vehicle.

If you’ve been hurt in a San Diego County car accident and have reason to believe that the other driver behaved recklessly, a lawyer can help determine if you could be owed compensation for your injuries, expenses, and pain and suffering. Before you can file a claim or lawsuit, however, it’s vital that you follow some very specific steps at the scene of the accident. First, move out of the roadway if you can do so without causing further injury. Next, obtain insurance information from any other drivers involved in the crash and call the police to request that an officer be dispatched to the scene to provide you with an official accident report.
