News: Cyclist injured in Point Loma hit-and-run

POINT LOMA, CA – A 63-year-old cyclist was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Point Loma, ABC 10 San Diego reports. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of Ladera Street and Cordova Street on Thursday morning.

The victim was coming down a hill on Ladera Street when a car turned in front of him.

He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was knocked unconscious and hospitalized.

Police are searching for the driver, who they believe was in a black Chrysler Sebring convertible.
