News: Driver collides with ambulance near Mira Costa, injures 3 people

OCEANSIDE, SA – According to CNS, a driver being chased by the police slammed into an ambulance at College Blvd and Vista Way Saturday.

At around 8 p.m., a suspect fled from a home on Casa Bonita Way in an SUV and deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department chased after them.

The suspect sustained abdominal injuries and a broken wrist when he slammed into an ambulance. Rescue crews transported the suspect and two paramedics from the ambulance to an area hospital.

The incident is under investigation by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
