SAN DIEGO CO., CA – Police in Chula Vista are searching for the driver responsible for fatally striking a pedestrian late Sunday night.
According to a report by Fox 5, the victim was hit at about 11:22 p.m. while walking in the 500 block of Naples Street near the intersection with 5th Avenue.
Despite life-saving measures, the unidentified female victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved fled before first responders arrived. No arrests have been made at the time of this writing.
