News: Driver in North Park arrested after crashing into light pole

NORTH PARK, CA – A driver was arrested after crashing into a light pole in North Park on Thursday morning, ABC 10 reports. 

The suspect lost control of his black Ford Mustang around 3:45 a.m. on the 3000 block of University Avenue.

The accident knocked down a light pole and it fell across the road. A woman driving a Lexus then struck the pole laying in the road. She was uninjured.

Police suspect the man in the Mustang was under the influence at the time of the crash.
