SAN DIEGO, CA – One person as killed in a single-vehicle collision in the Miramar Ranch North area on Wednesday morning.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the incident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. on the Scripps Poway Parkway, between Spring Canyon Road and Scripps Creek Drive.
Police say the driver lost control of their sedan, causing it to veer off the roadway and slam into a pine tree.
Firefighters extricated the unidentified driver and transported her to a nearby hospital, where she died a short time later.
