News: Driver pleads guilty to DUI manslaughter in Kearny Mesa crash

KEARNY MESA, CA – A man plead guilty to DUI manslaughter for an accident in which a pedestrian was killed in Kearny Mesa, KUSI reports. 

The suspect, a 39-year-old man sped through a red light on Othello Avenue. His Tesla flew off the road after hitting a dip in the pavement and struck a female pedestrian.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where she later passed away.
