News: Driver strikes, injures man on scooter near Ridgeview/Webster

SAN DIEGO, CA – According to CNS, a driver hit and injured a man on a scooter at Euclid Ave and Elm St Monday.

A 49-year-old male was heading south on Euclid Ave when he struck a 54-year-old male riding a scooter who had run a red light around 5 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the 54-year-old man to an area hospital with a femur fracture.

The incident is under investigation by the Traffic Division of the SDPD. They do not believe impairment played a role in the collision.
