News: Driver strikes, injures pedestrian in Carlsbad

CARLSBAD, CA – A driver hit a pedestrian at Faraday Ave and College Blvd Thursday, according to FOX 5 San Diego.

A 59-year-old woman driving a Lexus SUV struck the 58-year-old male victim as he was pushing a bicycle across the crosswalk around 6 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital.

Following the collision, the driver stayed at the scene of the accident.

The incident is under investigation by the Carlsbad Police Department.
