SAN DIEGO, CA – A driver collided with and hurt a pedestrian at Grand Ave and Kendall St Thursday, according to FOX 5 San Diego.
A Toyota Camry driver was heading east on Grand Ave when they hit the 66-year-old male pedestrian as he was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk around 10 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the collision.
The traffic division of the San Diego Police Department is investigating the incident.
