News: Driver strikes, seriously injures pedestrian in Chula Vista

CHULA VISTA, CA – According to CNS, a driver hit and injured a female pedestrian before leaving the scene at F St and Garrett Ave Wednesday.

A person driving a van with a top-mounted boom collided with the victim around 4:30 p.m.

Rescue crews found the woman unresponsive. They performed life-saving measures on the victim and transported her to an area hospital in stable condition.

The incident is under investigation by the Traffic Bureau of the Chula Vista Police Department.
