CITY HEIGHTS, CA – A one-year-old girl was killed on Saturday evening after being struck by a DUI suspect, CBS 8 San Diego reports.
The accident occurred on the 3900 block of Redwood Street around 6:45 p.m. The young girl was walking in the street when she was struck by a 1999 Toyota 4Runner.
The driver of the 4Runner, a 45-year-old man, was later arrested and will face charges for felony drunken driving and hit- and-run.
