The actions you take in the time following a car accident can seriously impact the compensation you receive for any losses incurred as a result. The first thing you should do is pull to the side of the road if possible. This action ensures your safety, and the safety of others on the road. Next, you should exchange contact information with any other drivers involved and gather as much of your own evidence from the scene if possible. After that, you will want to contact local authorities to ensure an official car accident report is taken by an officer at the scene and any injures are assessed by paramedics. Finally, contact the premier San Diego car accident lawyers at HHJ Trial Attorneys to find out if your case could be eligible for financial compensation.
