ESCONDIDO, CA – The suspect in a stolen car incident crashed into two other vehicles as police pursued him in Escondido, reports Fox 5 San Diego.
The crash occurred sometime after 8:22 p.m. on North Centre Parkway, which is just east of I-15.
Authorities say the pursuit started west of Escondido on North Twin Oaks Road. The suspect ultimately crashed into a passenger car and a police cruiser.
Medics transported the driver of the stolen vehicle to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
It is unclear if anyone else sustained injuries in the crash.
Police have not yet released the identity of the driver. A full investigation is underway.
