SAN DIEGO, CA – Two senior citizens were hospitalized Thursday after their vehicles collided on a busy roadway in Grantville, reports Fox 5 San Diego.
The incident happened just before 11:30 a.m. just west of Fairmount Avenue on Camino Del Rio North.
The investigation indicates that a westbound Toyota pickup truck collided head-on with an eastbound Honda SUV.
The 95-year-old male driver of the Toyota went to the hospital with critical injuries.
Medics transported the 77-year-old female driver of the Honda to the hospital with chest pain.
A full investigation is underway.
