News: Hit-and-run driver strikes 2 women in a parking lot on Mission George Rd

SANTEE, CA – According to FOX 5 San Diego, a driver fled the scene after colliding with two female pedestrians in a parking lot on the 9400 block of Mission George Rd on Nov. 25.

The two women were walking to their vehicle when the driver hit them with a dark green Toyota Tacoma pickup truck around 10:30 p.m. The suspect then attempted to steal one of the women’s purses before driving off.

The two women suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Authorities say the suspect is a Hispanic male with a dark mustache. He is described as being around 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall. His age is in the mid-40s to mid-50s.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department urges anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them.
