News: Hit-and-run driver strikes another vehicle in Lomita

SAN DIEGO, CA – A woman was hurt when a hit-and-run driver struck the car she was renting at Jamacha Rd and Cardiff St Saturday, according to CBS 8.

The driver of a Dodge Challenger ran a red light and collided with a pickup truck before striking a Ford Mustang convertible driven by Maggie Robles. Robles’s son and daughter-in-law were also in the Mustang.

Rescue crews extricated the Robles family from the vehicle. Maggie Robles was injured in the crash.

A cell phone video from a witness captured the suspect’s license plate number, which was given to the police.
