SAN DIEGO, CA – According to NBC San Diego, a hit-and-run driver collided with a pedestrian at Camino Ruiz and Jade Coast Dr Saturday.
A Cadillac driver ran a red light and hit an unidentified woman as she was crossing the street around 1:31 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the woman to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities said she is not expected to survive.
The incident is under investigation by the Traffic Division of the San Diego Police Department. They urge anyone with information concerning the collision to contact them.
