News: Hit-and-run driver strikes, injures pedestrian near East Side Capistrano

OCEANSIDE, CA – According to CNS, a driver fled the scene after hitting a female pedestrian on the eastbound Mission Rd off-ramp from northbound I-5 Wednesday.

A male between 30 and 50 years of age was driving a red Ford F150 extended cab pickup truck when he collided with the victim around 11:24 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital with significant injuries.
