News: Hit-and-run driver strikes, kills motorcyclist in El Cajon

EL CAJON, CA – A hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a motorcyclist on the southbound ramp from CA 67 to westbound I-8 on Dec. 2, according to KGTV.

Antony Jaramillo, 33, was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed before slamming into a concrete wall.

The collision ejected Jaramillo from the motorcycle and he landed on the road. A person driving a Toyota Camry then hit him and fled the area.

Rescue crews pronounced Jaramillo dead at the scene of the accident.

The incident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the crash to contact them.
