News: Logan Heights collision leaves pedestrian seriously injured

SAN DIEGO, CA – A collision in Logan Heights left a pedestrian seriously injured on Sunday night, the Times of San Diego reports. 

The victim, a 57-year-old man, was in the street near the intersection of 31st Street and National Avenue around 9:45 p.m.

A 27-year-old woman was driving west on National Avenue when she struck the man, who she claimed she could not see.

He was hospitalized with serious injuries, including multiple skull fractures, trauma to his spleen and a fractured pelvis. None of the injuries are expected to be life-threatening.
