News: Man crashes into Bonita homes, dies at scene

BONITA, CA – The driver of a Nissan SUV died Tuesday after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into several homes in Bonita, reports Fox 5 San Diego.

The incident happened just before 9:30 a.m. in the area of 4200 Corral Canyon Road, which is just down the road from Bonita Long Canyon Park. 

The investigation indicates that the 68-year-old driver may have been speeding on Corral Canyon when he crashed into at least two homes.

The driver died at the scene of the crash. Police have not yet released his identity to the public, nor have they commented on the cause of the accident.

No other injuries have been reported, though the crash caused significant property damage.

A full investigation is underway.
