News: Man hit, killed by vehicle on Pacific Hwy in Morena

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 33-year-old man died Tuesday night after being hit by a vehicle while walking in San Diego’s Morena neighborhood, reports ABC 10 News.

The San Diego Police Department said the incident occurred in the 4800 block of Pacific Highway.

An early investigation shows the male pedestrian was traveling in the northbound lane on foot when he was struck by a northbound 2016 Lincoln MKZ.

The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene, confirmed officials.

The driver, a 41-year-old man, told officers he did not see the pedestrian in the roadway prior to the crash.
