SAN DIEGO CO., CA – A man was killed early this morning in a single-vehicle crash in the Pine Valley area.
According to a report by Fox 5, the incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. when the man lost control of his vehicle on Old Highway 80 and crashed into a tree stump in front of Pine Valley Middle School.
CalFire responded to the scene and pulled the driver from the vehicle. The unidentified man succumbed to his injuries at the scene a short time later.
The cause of the crash is not mentioned in the report. However, investigators believe speed may have been a factor.
