SAN DIEGO CO., CA – A man died early Saturday after being run over on SR-76 in Oceanside.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the man was lying in the westbound lanes of the roadway near Douglas Drive when he was run over at about 1:30 a.m.
Police say the driver attempted to avoid hitting the victim but was unable to do so in time and ended up running him over. We do not know if the victim was already dead before he was run over.
The identities of those involved are being withheld pending further investigation.
