News: Motorcyclist hurt in Kearny Mesa hit-and-run

SAN DIEGO, CA – A 53-year-old man sustained serious injuries Monday night when a vehicle struck his motorcycle at a busy intersection in Kearny Mesa, reports Fox 5 San Diego.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Kearny Villa Road, which is just east of CA-163. 

The investigation thus far suggests that a white northbound Nissan hit the side of the victim’s westbound motorcycle in the intersection.

Despite serious injuries, the motorcyclist is expected to recover.

The driver of the car fled the scene of the collision.
